Why did Stargate fail
“The pacing was tedious and the plot-lines too uneventful.” Similar criticisms were levelled at Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and both shows share a certain propensity for thoughtful plot arcs that span many episodes, along with character development that is multi-faceted and can carry developments for several characters …
Why was Stargate removed from Netflix : SG-1 recently departed Netflix in the U.S. after that license expired. Atlantis, meanwhile, remains viewable over on Hulu. All three shows are also on demand on Pluto TV, though here they come with commercials. (That's why Pluto TV is free.)
SG1 was such a successful series because of a few things. One they had an original idea for the series. Two they had a great cast not just Richard Dean Anderson but Michael Shanks, Amanda Tapping, Christopher Judge, Don S Davis and all the other great actors that starred in the show and they kept the good ideas coming.
SG-1 has good strong likeable characters, good actors, good plots and overall a great series to watch and enjoy.

As stated by O'Neill, Teal'c is physically much stronger than anyone he knows, even after having his Goa'uld Symbiote removed; a trait he puts to great use in combat.Stargate SG-1 doesn't actually end. The last episode has them stepping through the gate again. The Ori story is ended, and the team split up, turning up for various things in Atlantis. Carter spends a year there.
The Stargate franchise ran for more than a decade on the small screen, with three TV shows and hundreds of hours of sci-fi adventures. But it's been pretty much dormant the past several years following the cancellation of Stargate Universe in 2011.
Is Stargate coming back to Netflix : Stargate is exiting Netflix once again — but with the franchise now having a new owner, this time it might be for good.
Is Stargate SG-1 appropriate : It can be a bit for kids to see, and they may fall into a cussing habit, however, I doubt it. There's a lot of 'implied' scenes and rude jokes, but I find them hilarious and I'm sure teens my age do as well. Overall, my favorite series, and the best Sci-fi there is. 100% recommended.
