Smaller cabin.. and with 2-4-2 seating… Just feels nicer to me… The very best seats are however only available at an extra charge… so that's the 8 exit row seats in that cabin (71/81 A,C,H,K) plus the 4 middle seats in row 80 that have exit row type legroom..

Another vote for reopen: In my experience the upper deck is objectively better. A much smaller cabin makes for better service and less disruption. Due to fuselage curvature there is often one less column of seats and the window seats do have an extra storage bin at the wall which is super handy.

Just my opinion Phil – much better on the upper deck full stop – which is why the seats get taken quickly once people realize they can book the upper deck 😉 And I've travelled on the lower deck many many times.
